This unique variety of the Philodendron Family is a hardy green plant that is a favorite among plant lovers everywhere. The name Split Leaf comes from the way the leaves seem to "split." As the plant grows larger the leaves also get much bigger and the splits also get larger giving many of the leaves a swiss cheese look.. which is also a common nickname for the plant. This larger variety is known as Monsterra.

These plants grow very well both outdoors in partial sun and indoors in a bright room. The more light they get the bigger and more unique the leaves will be!
